Artist Bio:
Maryann Cannon’s New Jersey roots date to 1919 when her grandparents visited Atlantic City on their honeymoon and never left. Today, her family can boast about having five generations of New Jersey residents.
Maryann works primarily as a realistic oil painter and is the founder of La Bottega of Art and Copperplate Studio, both located in the Glasstown Arts District of Millville. She also conducts workshops for aspiring artists.
Maryann’s paintings are inspired by nature. Her goal is to transport viewers to a better place whether a peaceful place in the woods, a soothing spot on the Shore or a quiet respite by the sea.
